Ramy Sebei, a Syrian musician who uses his acoustic guitar to tell stories of the Syrian revolution and his personal experiences, performed in Wekalet Behna, Gudran Association for Arts and Development's space as part of theOufuqy Music Festivalin Alexandria. Wekalet Behna was once the office forBehna Films, a distribution company which worked throughout the 30s, 40s and 50s distributing Egyptian films all over Egypt and the region. The company's owner, Basile Behna, is collaborating with Gudran to turn the former office into a space for visual arts and independent cinema along with exhibiting the documents, posters, and other memorabilia from Egypt's golden age of cinema.
