Liverpool without Gerrard for Europa League trip
Liverpool will have to cope without captain Steven Gerrard when their Europa League last-16 phase begins at Braga on Thursday

The Reds haven't explained why the midfielder won't be making the trip to Portugal after he helped to inspire them to a morale-boosting Premier League victory over Manchester United on Sunday.
But Liverpool's record signing, striker Andy Carroll, is set to make his European debut on Thursday.
English rival Manchester City also has an away match, with Roberto Mancini's side going to Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine.
In other matches, Villarreal heads to Bayer Leverkusen, former UEFA Cup winners CSKA Moscow and FC Porto meet in Russia, Spartak Moscow is at Ajax, and PSV Eindhoven hosts Rangers.
