Egyptian activists to join global protest against Monsanto Company, world's largest producer of pesticides, in Cairo and Alexandria on Saturday 25 May

Over 200,000 activists will be marching on Saturday 25 May in 400 cities worldwide against Monsanto Company, a multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation and the largest producer of pesticides, herbicides and genetically engineered crop seeds in the world.
Egypt will participate in the international protest spanning six continents, also known as the "March against Monsanto."
The march in Egypt is scheduled to take place at 4pm in Cairo at the Ministry of Agriculture and in Egypt's north coast city of Alexandria in front of Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
