Two bands: Transistorand El Mahata will perform in Beit El Raseef, a new open space featuring music concerts.

Chamber Music at Arab Music Institute at 8pm
The concert is part of the Finnish-Egyptian Musical Bridge, a week of musical workshops, master classes and joint performances between virtuoso Egyptian and Finnish musicians and opera singers. The sixth edition of the Finnish-Egyptian musical bridge, will provide end of the work chamber concert with works by Boccherini, Mozart and Dvorak.

Passing Facesexhibition by Kareem El-Qurity at The Art Lounge
Inspired by the dynamism of the Egyptian street and by the faces he encounters on Cairo's sidewalks and public buses, Kareem El-Qurity returns this month with an exhibition entitledPassing Faces, featuring compelling portraits that poignantly reflect the plight of Egyptians. The exhibition runs until 11 April.

Exhibition opening at Picasso Art Gallery at 7pm
An opening ceremony of an exhibition titled "Women and Horses" showcasing artwork by Helmi El Toumi. The opening will take place at 7pm, and the exhibition will be on until 12 April, opened daily between 10.30am and 9pm (except Sundays).

Harass Map at Darb 1718 at 3pm
HarassMap is an annual event aiming to debunk myths and excuses surrounding sexual harassment in Egypt. The event which will last until 10pm will include discussions, as well as singing, all aiming to share message and educating the attendees about the sexual harassment, its aspects and how to deal with it.

Cairo Symphony Orchestra at the Cairo Opera House at 8pm
The evening will include compositions by Ravel, Sibelius and Bizet. Cairo Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Fabien Tehericsen and the violin soloist will be Hossam Shehata.

"On My Forest Land"exhibition by Hala Abu Shady at the Mashrabiya Gallery
InOn My Forest Land, visual artist Hala Abu Shady tackles issues of heritage and identity across Mediterranean societies. Intrigued by symbols and images of Egyptian society and using photographs of herself, along with pictures from Facebook and Twitter, the artist produced a show of photomontages and sound art that aims to capture the change and multiculturalism that characterises contemporary society. The exhibition will run until 11 April.
