The Criminal Court of Alexandria will hold the fourth session in the trial police officers accused of killing Khaled Saeed this Saturday. In the last court session held on October 23, 15 witnesses were questioned, including the autopsy specialist, several people who witnessed the event, as well as several of Saeed's friends. According to police reports, Saeed was arrested last July by two policemen in an internet café. During the arrest he tried to hide a batch of hashish, by swallowing it, which resulted in death by asphyxiation. The case went to court after Attorney General Abdel-Megeed Mahmoud reviewed the incident and studied the third forensic medicine report. The two policemen, Mahmoud Salah Mahmoud and Awad Ismael Soliman, are accused of arresting Saeed without a warrant and using violence and torture.
