Ahly will be stronger in Tunisia, says Esperance's Hichri
Esperance defender Walid Hichri believes the second leg of the Champions League final will be tougher than the first, predicting that Ahly will be stronger in Tunisia

On target in the first leg of the Champions League final, Esperance's defender Walid Hichri said on Thursday the second leg will be tougher for Esperance even though they have taken advantage in the first leg.
The Tunisian side managed a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Alexandria on Sunday; a goal-less draw in the second leg -- scheduled for Saturday 17 November in Tunisia -- will be sufficient for Esperance to keep their African title.
"Ahly will be stronger in Tunisia," Walid Hichri said on a TV programme on Thursday. "The second leg will be tougher than the first." The 26-year-old praised the depth of Ahly's squad, which includes several stars able to make the difference at any time. "Ahly' skipper Hossam Ghaly is a very good maestro who can coordinate in an excellent way between the defense and the attack.
"Striker Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo' and forward Walid Soliman are also very dangerous. I think this duo is the most influential in Ahly's front line."
Gedo and Soliman produced a strong performance during the first leg. Gedo was instrumental in Ahly's front line with his movements and his shots while Soliman made some darting runs on the right flank causing a lot of troubles for his opponents.
Esperance's right flank duo Sameh Derbali and Harrison Afful were booked trying to stop him and will be suspended from the second leg.
The international defender also hailed inspirational playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika's capacities despite his less than excellent performance during the first leg. The classy midfielder appeared out of form in the first leg on wasting two precious goal-scoring occasions but Hichri believes he would be a major threat.
"Abou-Treika is a great player who has great experience and great capacities. He appeared out of form in the first leg but he is still a source of danger for his team."
