Nigeria's Moses eyes move from Chelsea to Barcelona The young Moses says he is happy at Premier League giants Chelsea, but will keep his nose to the grindstone in hopes to seal his ultimate goal: Barcelona
Nigeria's forward Victor Moses dreams of joining Spanish giants Barcelona one day and believes that hard work with his new club Chelsea could fulfill that dream. The 21-year-old hitman has joined the Blues this summer after delivering impressive displays for Wigan Athletic last season. "It has been a long journey [from Nigeria] and I just want to keep strong and work hard for myself, whether it's football or not football," Moses told The Guardian ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Queens Park Rangers. "I have to thank God for being where I am, it's like a dream come true and, if I keep working hard, who knows, I'll probably end up in Barcelona one day," the former Crystal Palace added. Moses will have to raise his game to an even higher level at Stamford Bridge, where he will compete with the likes of Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Daniel Sturridge and Marko Marin for a place in Di Matteo's starting line-up. "For a club to come and get you, they are going to use you at some stage. I know that there are a lot of players at Chelsea but if I do get my chance, I just have to grab it," said Moses. At international level, Moses played for England from the time he was schoolboy up to the Under-21 team, but has opted to represent Nigeria at senior level and made his debut in February against Rwanda.
