Morocco's Barrada keen on Premier League move Moroccan forward Abdelaziz Barrada expressed his delight with being linked to several Premier League sides
Getafe's Moroccan forward Abdelaziz Barrada said on Thursday he is flattered to be linked to a possible move to the Premier League this summer, after Premier League sides Newcastle and Everton expressed interest in signing the Moroccan forward. "It is at the rumour stage at the moment; I heard of interest from Newcastle a long time ago, the Everton one has been in the papers," Barrada was quoted as saying by Mountakhab. "I am a Getafe player and happy to be here; and if I am wanted by a club, they know what they have to do. Newcastle is an exciting team in a very big league, so is Everton, so to join one of them will be great. They have a great tradition and are appealing to any player who wants to test himself against the best." Barrada has been playing with the Morocco U-23 team in the ongoing Olympic Games; he scored Morocco's first goal in their 2-2 draw against Honduras on Thursday.
