Ismaily have rejected a LE3 million from Ahly for their wantaway striker Ahmed Ali, according to the Al-Ahram Arabic newspaper on Monday. Earlier this week, the Cairo giants stepped up their interest in signing the 25-year-old hitman for LE3 million plus a player. The Dervishes' chairman Raafat Abdel-Azim said the combative striker was eager to join Ahly but his negative attitude had led the club to suspend negations on the move. "Ali's attitude towards the management forced us to refuse all offers," Abdel-Azim said. Ali struggled to recapture his form after returning to Ismaily in the summer of 2011 following a six-month loan spell at Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal. He only managed to score one goal in Ismaily's first six Egyptian Premier League games last season.
