Egypt fly to Central Africa to play crucial Nations Cup qualifier Egypt are wrapping up their preparations for the crucial African Nations Cup qualifier at Central Africa
Egypt have flown to Central Africa on a private jet on Friday to face their modest opponents in a must-win African Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday. "The team will hold one training session today at 4:30 pm Cairo local time at the same venue that will host the match," the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said on its official website. The Pharaohs will be looking to overturn a 3-2 first-leg deficit when they meet Central Africa as they aim to avoid another failure to reach the Nations Cup. The seven-time African champions missed out on the 2012 edition following a disappointing qualifying campaign that eventually led to the departure of coach Hassan Shehata.
