Saudi crown prince welcomes President-elect Morsi

Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud sent a message of congratulations to president-elect Mohamed Morsi and the Egyptian nation on Thursday.
Salman called for continued cooperation in all domains and praised the firm ties among the two neighbouring Arab states.
The half-brother of Saudi Arabia's King was named as heir to the throne on May 18 following the death of crown prince Nayef, state television AL-Ekhbariyah said.The monarch appointed Salman "crown prince and deputy prime minister" while keeping him on as defence minsiter, it said, adding Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz would take over from Nayef as interior minister.
