First flights arrive from Tunisia to Cairo after revolution 163 Egyptian passengers arrived in Cairo Monday night after being stuck at Carthage Airport for days
163 Egyptian passengers arrived in Cairo yesterday on both Egypt Air and Tunisian Airlines flights. The Egyptian passengers said they were stranded in Tunisia's Carthage Airport for a period of two to three days while waiting for their return flight to Egypt, which had been delayed due to the Tunisian revolution. Moreover, head of Egypt Air holding company Hussein Masoud said that the company had tried its best to transfer Egyptians who wanted to come back home, but they had to waituntil the airspace was safe before they could send an airbus to accommodate the 260 passengers awaiting transport.
