Pyramids hero El-Said savours win as African dream approaches realisation
Published in Ahram Online on 20 - 10 - 2020

Pyramids star Abdallah El-Said savoured his team's 2-0 victory over Horoya AC in the African Confederation Cup semis on Tuesday, saying his side are determined to realise their dream and taste glory.
The big-spending Emiraiti-owned outfit reached the final of Africa's secondary club competition after a quickfire double from Ibrahim Hassan and El-Said in the second half ended the resistance of their Guinean opponents.
Substitute Hassan opened the scoring moments after coming on in the 74th minute, with veteran playmaker El-Said ending the match as a contest with a delightful curler one minute later.
The Egyptian side will face RS Berkane of Morocco, runners up of the previous edition, in the final on Sunday.
"I am very happy with our result today. We played a good game especially in the second half," El-Said told BeIN sports after the game.
"The final will be tough as we will face a good team but we will do our best in this game to achieve our mission and win the title.''
"We have been dreaming for this title from the very beginning and we are determined to win it," he concluded.
