Market Update: Egypt stocks plunge 3.5 pct by Sunday close

The Egyptian stock exchange has closed Sunday with heavy losses, the EGX30 plummeting 3.55 per cent to 4,962 points.
Total market turnover was LE319.3 million ($52.9m), with around a quarter of it tied up in shares in Orascom Telecom Media & Technology, Orascom Telecom, and Ezz Steel.
