UEFA has launched the bidding process for the 2020 European Championship

UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino says invitations to bid will be sent to all 53 European football nations outlining the hosting requirements. He says nations will have two months in which to declare an interest.
The 24-nation tournament involves 51 matches being played over a month.
Infantino says the UEFA executive committee also rejected a proposal that would have allowed Welsh clubs playing in English leagues to opt out of English cup competitions in order to focus on the Welsh Cup and try to qualify for the Europa League.
