Egypt registered 13 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 93, the health ministry said. Of the total number, 32 later tested negative and 21 have since recovered, the ministry added. The newly detected cases were in contact with people previously reported to have the virus, the ministry said. Two of the total cases in the country have died, an Egyptian woman and a German tourist. The virus, which emerged in the central Chinese city of Wuhan late last year, has so far infected over 144,000 people and killed more than 5,300 globally.
