Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced on Wednesday that a group of 46 French and American tourists who had been on board the Nile cruise ship that hosted the 45 confirmed coronavirus cases left the country on Tuesday night after testing negative for the virus. Abdel-Fattah El-Assi, head of the hotel establishments supervision sector, stated that 17 Indian tourists who were on board the same cruiser had arrived at Cairo airport to return to their country after testing negative for the virus. Egypt has so far detected 59 novel coronavirus cases. On Tuesday, Egypt's health ministry announced that the total number of patients who tested negative after positive diagnosis is 26. Egypt reported on Sunday that a German national was the first coronavirus patient to die in the country.
