President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Thursday marked the 68th annual National Police Day, which falls on 25 January. The Egyptian president laid a wreath on the tomb for martyrs from the police forces at the Police Academy in New Cairo. The president also conferred the Order of Excellence, third class, on two policemen. The celebration was attended by Tawfik, the House of Representatives Speaker Ali Abdel-Aal, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed El-Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II.
