President Sisi says Egypt looks forward to bolstering cooperation with Comoros, Nigeria

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed on Thursday with Comoros President Azali Assoumani raising the rates of trade exchange between Egypt and Comoros and building capabilities and cadres in Comoros, the Egyptian presidency said.
At a meeting in Aswan with Assoumani on the sidelines of the first Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace, Security and Development in Africa, El-Sisi praised the historical ties binding Egypt and Comoros at the Arab and African levels, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
He also referred to the large number of Comorian university students in Egypt.
Assoumani, on his part, thanked El-Sisi for his pioneering role in the African continent and efforts to promote joint African action especially the activation of the African Continental Free Trade Area to serve the African nations' aspirations for development and prosperity, improve the investment climate and raise the levels of inter-African trade.
He also affirmed his country's interest in enhancing ties with Egypt in various spheres.

President El-Sisi also met Nigeran President Mohamed Buhari in Aswan on the same day, according to the Egyptian Presidency.
The two presidents discussed boosting the bilateral relations between Egypt and Nigeria especially the economic relations through boosting the trade exchange and investments as well as the cooperation between the two countries through the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for development.
From his side, President Buhari praised the historical relations between Egypt and Nigeria praising at the same time the role of Egypt in Africa.
He also stated that his country was keen to boost the bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields especially in commerce and trade praising the role of the Egyptian companies in Nigeria and expressing his aspiration to increase the Egyptian investments in his countries.
El-Sisi and Buhair also discussed the latest regional issues in Africa especially in Sudan, Libya, Sahel and West Africa.
