Chaired by historian Khaled Fahmy, the discussion with the British thinker and a number of Egyptian thinkers will tackle limits to freedom of expression in both Europe and the Middle East American University in Cairo (AUC) will host prominent British political writer Timothy Garton Ash on Wednesday 29 February at 5:00pm to debate with four Egyptian figures on freedom of expression, tackling its limits in Europe and the Middle East. The discussion will be chaired by historian Khaled Fahmy. The four Egyptians participating in the debate are Amr Ezzat a journalist and researcher at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, Nora Younis, journalist and activist, Amr Gharbia, blogger and Nadia Kamel, filmmaker.
