Cote d'Ivoire coach Ibrahim Kamara said he warned his team that the game against Morocco on Friday in the second round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (2019 AFCON) group stage will be difficult. The Elephants share first place with the Atlas Lions in Group D, which plays at El-Salam Stadium, with 3 points each. Cote d'Ivoire opened their 2019 AFCON campaign by beating South Africa 1-0, while Morocco beat Namibia, also 1-0. "My team is searching to qualify to the next stage, and we will do our best to achieve it," Kamara told a tournament press conference on Thursday. "Our target is not only beating Morocco, but also to go all the way," "Morocco national team has a strong defence as well as a strong frontline; they have had a stable lineup for four years, which reflects in the team's performance," the Cote d'Ivoire tactician said. "We will play the game against Morocco to win and qualify; if we didn't win we [at least] don't want to lose; we have to do our best."
