VIDEO: Egypt's revolutionaries take propaganda war to the streets Despite frequent attacks, activists armed with projectors are screening the videos that the ruling military council don't want Egyptians to see
By Simon Hanna A new multimedia campaign is taking place across Egypt. Frustrated with biased coverage in state run media, activists are taking matters into their own hands by screening the videos that the ruling military council do not want to be seen. The decentralised 'Kazeboon' (Liars) movement involves ordinary people downloading videos of military abuses and showing them in the streets of their own neighbourhoods. The screenings often turn into protest marches, and are regularly attacked by those who oppose the movement and the images showing the brutal side of Egypt's security forces. More information can be can be found on the 'Kazeboon' Facebook page. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/32280.aspx
