Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is vying with club teammate Sadio Mane of Senegal and Arsenal's Gabonese striker for CAF's best player of the year award. Salah is seeking to win the award for the second successive year, having become only the second Egyptian player to be named Africa's best when he scooped the prize last year after beating the same duo.
