Arsenal's Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny will be out of action for two weeks as he suffers a thigh injury, the Premier League side said on Tuesday. It is unclear whether the 26-year-old would feature in Egypt's upcoming clash against Tunisia in a Nations Cup qualifier on 16 November at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium. Already-qualified Egypt and Tunisia meet in a Group J game that will go some way to determining who would finish on top of the group. Egypt are second with nine points, three behind leaders Tunisia with two matches to spare. Elneny, who joined Arsenal in January 2016, is yet to make any Premier League appearances this season, having fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of coach Unai Emery.
