Egypt's manager Javier Aguirre said on Tuesday he is satisfied with the Pharaohs' offensive performance, adding that he is looking for continued success from his players in the coming period. The Pharaohs defeated eSwatini 2-0 away on Tuesday in the Nations Cup qualifiers to put a foot in next year's Africa Cup of Nations set to be played in Cameroon. Under Aguirre's helm the Pharaohs claimed three successive wins in the Nations Cup qualifiers, scoring 12 goals and conceding only one in three games. "We produced a good performance against eSwatini," Aguirre told the post match news conference on Tuesday, "but we squandered many goal-scoring opportunities during the game." "Scoring 12 goals in three games and conceding only one is a very important sign." The Mexican coach highlighted the importance of Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, while stressing that Egypt has many good players capable of compensating any absences. Salah missed Tuesday's clash due to a muscle injury picked-up in Egypt's 4-1 win over eSwatini on Friday. "Salah is a very important player and we surely need him," Aguirre added, "but I am the coach of the Egyptian national team which includes many good players capable of compensating the absence of any player." "It is not important who will play or who will miss the game, our target is to prepare all players to be ready for all games," he concluded.
