The book Mohamed Salah was reading on Twitter isn't about what you think

Egyptian Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, posted a photo of himself on his Twitter account on Thursday reading a book called The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***.
Many social media users tried to look for a hidden message in the book title, especially after Egypt's early exit from this year's World Cup, and the rumours about clashes between Salah and officials in Egypt's Football Association (EFA).
Some reports had even suggested that he would retire from the national team.
The author of the book himself, Mark Manson, tweeted in response to the footballer, "Much love @Mohamed Salah. Enjoy."
In the book, the author argues that struggling in life give it more meaning.
In one excerpt the Manson says "not giving a f**k does not mean being indifferent; it means being comfortable with being different."
"When most people envision giving no f**ks whatsoever, they envision a kind of perfect and serene indifference to everything, a calm that weathers all storms. This is misguided. There's absolutely nothing admirable or confident about indifference.
"People who are indifferent are lame and scared. They're couch potatoes and internet trolls. In fact, indifferent people often attempt to be indifferent because in reality they actually give too many fucks. They are afraid of the world and the repercussions of their own choices. Therefore, they make none. They hide in a grey emotionless pit of their own making, self-absorbed and self-pitied, perpetually distracting themselves from this unfortunate thing demanding their time and energy called life."
"When we say, 'Damn, watch out, Mark Manson just don't give a fuck,' we don't mean that Mark Manson doesn't care about anything; on the contrary, what we mean is that Mark Manson doesn't care about adversity in the face of his goals, he doesn't care about pissing some people off to do what he feels is right or important or noble."
The 224-page book was published in the United States by HarperOne, a division of the prestigious publishing house HarperCollins in 2016 and is the second book by Manson, 34.
It has sold around 2 million copies in English and is a New York Times bestseller. The book has been translated into many languages, including Arabic, which was the version the footballer was pictured reading.
Manson's first book Models: How To Attract Women Through Honesty was published in 2011.
