The Africa Cup of nations scheduled from 21 January to 12 February comes at bad time for Manchester City which will play seven Leagues' games during this period. The Citizens also have a crucial clash against Liverpool in the Carling Cup semi-final. The African player of the Year is confident about his teammates capacities to Keep Manchester City at the top of the English Premier League table. "I have total confidence in my friends here. We have Nigel de Jong, James Milner, Samir Nasri and Gareth Barry can all play that position and do a fantastic job," he added. "It will be hard; we play Liverpool twice in the cup and play Manchester United as well. I hope my friends will do well because now we have a good chance." Toure concluded.
