Ibrahimovic's two late goals not enough as Galaxy fall to Dallas
Published in Ahram Online on 31 - 05 - 2018

Ryan Hollingshead had his first goal in nearly two years and an assist as FC Dallas ran its unbeaten streak to five games with a 3-2 win against the Los Angeles Galaxy at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., on Wednesday.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic had two goals for the Galaxy (5-7-1).
Dallas (6-1-5) scored twice in seven minutes before the half to break a scoreless tie and move to 3-0-2 in the past five games.
LA was coming off back-to-back 1-0 victories, but Hollingshead struck in the 33rd minute and Cristian Colman followed in the 40th. Carlos Gruezo made it 3-0 in the 66th before Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored three minutes later for the Galaxy.
Colman was sent off in the 80th minute after a scuffle with Galaxy defender Michael Ciani, and Ibrahimovic scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time. He has five goals in nine matches since his arrival from Manchester United.
Dallas took the lead thanks to a build-up that included eight passes, the last from Mauro Diaz to Hollingshead at the top of the box. Hollingshead scored for the first time since June 2, 2016, against Houston.
Hollingshead set up Colman's second goal of the season, a header that took one bounce on the way into the net. Diaz assisted on the first two goals. He has eight helpers in only 10 games to close in on his career best of 13 assists in 27 matches in 2016.
Hollingshead made a goal-line clearance of Perry Kitchen in the 63rd before Gruezo scored with a header after goalkeeper David Bingham stopped the initial shot by Michael Barrios.
Ibrahimovic made it 3-1 off a leading pass by Sebastian Lletget.
Dallas has beaten the Galaxy four straight times and is 5-0-1 in the past six meetings.
Dallas hosts Los Angeles FC on Saturday, while the Galaxy plays at the Portland Timbers.
