Mo Salah treats his four goals with typical humility after Liverpool's 5-0 win
Published in Ahram Online on 17 - 03 - 2018

Mohamed Salah was as humble as ever after enjoying a glorious night at Anfield, netting four goals in Liverpool's 5-0 hammering of Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
The effervescent forward, who has taken the Premier League by storm since his summer arrival from AS Roma, continued his prolific goal-scoring run and also created a goal for Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.
He took his tally to 28 league goals, four clear of Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane on top of the competition's scoring charts.
But in typical humility, Salah said Liverpool's win was all what mattered following a disappointing 2-1 defeat by rivals Manchester United last week.
"I have to thank every one of my teammates, without them I couldn't have reached these numbers," he told BT Sport in a pitchside interview.
"Each game we try to get the three points, that's the most important thing, but every game I want to score, I want to help the team.
"I think we showed a good reaction after the last game, we had a good result - 5-0 - and a clean sheet is important. [Now] we have to look forward to the next games," he added.
The 25-year-old is just one goal short of equaling Didier Drogba's record for the most goals by an African player in the Premier League. The former Ivory Coast hitman netted 29 goals in the 2009-10 season.
Salah is also the first Liverpool player to score four goals in a Premier League game since Luis Suarez against Norwich in December 2013.
