Egypt winger Mahmoud Trezeguet scored a superb goal but it was enough to prevent Kasimpasa from losing 2-1 to Besiktas in the Turkish league on Friday. With his side trailing 2-0, Trezeguet found the net in the 72nd minute to reduce the arrears in brilliant fashion. Collecting a pass on the left flank, he skipped past his marker, jinked into the area and cut inside two challengers before hitting a low shot into the bottom corner of the net. He has taken his tally to four league goals and seven in all competitions since joining Kasimpasa on loan from Belgian giants Anderlecht last summer. Trezeguet's former club Ahly have recently expressed an interest in bringing the player back to Cairo, but admitted it would be difficult to lure him. The 23-year-old has been a key member of Egypt's squad since making his debut with the national team in 2014. He earned the crucial penalty which Mohamed Salah converted to lift Egypt to their first World Cup finals in 28 years following a dramatic 2-1 win over Congo in Alexandria last October.
