Hospital report shows of the casualties admitted during clashes around Tahrir Square, five were shot dead, 212 still in hospital and 36 are still being treated for tear gas inhalation at Poisons Centre Qasr El-Aini Hospital in downtown Cairo has compiled its own report on the number of dead and injured protesters admitted to the hospital during November's Mohamed Mahmoud Street clashes with Central Security Forces. According to Dr Mohamed Mostafa of the Tahrir Doctors' Society, who has seen the report, 13 people died at the hospital during the clashes, including five from gunshot wounds to the heart, head or eyes. On 22 November, 162 injured protesters were admitted to the hospital, the highest number on any day of the clashes, of whom 32 are still under observation. Seven hundred and forty two injured protesters were admitted to the hospital from 19 November until 28 November, the total period of the clashes, of whom 212 are still undergoing treatment. Furthermore, Dr Mostafa says 36 protesters continue to undergo treatment for the effects of tear gas inhalation at the Poisons Centre in Cairo.
