Egypt's Ezz Dekheila Steel saw its profits drop 38 per cent to LE322.4 million in the first half of 2011, the firm said Sunday in a statement sent to the Egyptian stock exchange. The firm, a subsidiary of troubled Ezz Steel, reported consolidated profits of LE512.7 million for the same period in 2010. The fall in profits came despite a surge in net sales to LE5.9 billion, against LE4.4 billion the year before.
