A double from Moroccan striker Walid Azaro gave Ahly a 2-1 win over El-Entag El-Harby in the Egyptian League at El-Salam stadium on Thursday to claim their third successive win this season. Having five matches on their hands, Ahly are on the tenth place in the league table with ten points, 10 points behind Ismaily who are on the top of the table with 20 points. Ahly's first threat came in the seventh minute when Azaro met a nice cross from the left flank by Hussein El-Sayed but his header went wide. Eight minutes later the Moroccan striker put the Red Devils ahead with a calm chip after receiving a smooth pass from Nigerian winger Junior Ajayi who shone during the first-halftime. After the goal, Ahly maintained their superiority in term of possession but they failed to extend their lead as Azaro and Walid Soliman squandered many goal-scoring chances. Entag's Malian midfielder Moussa Diawara won a penalty just before the break when Ahly's defender Mohamed Hany tackled him just inside the area. Striker Omar El-Said converted the penalty to score the equalizer for the hosts. This goal allowed El-Said to join Mqassa's midfielder Hussein El-Shahat on the summit in the list of the league's top scorers with seven goals. The first 30 minutes of the second Halftime saw a poor performance from both sides. Despite the interventions of Ahly's coach Hossam El-Badry who introduced wingers Moemen Zakaria and Ahmed El-Sheikh at the expense of Ahmed Hamoudi and Walid Soliman respectively. With 12 minutes to time, a defensive lapse from Entag's defense allowed Walid Azaro to score the winner. El-Said had the chance to score the equaliser for Entag in the 85 th minutes but Ahly's keeper Ahmed El-Shenawy denied his power shot with an heroic save.
