Ghanaian forward Mubarak Wakaso completed his move to Spanish side Alaves on a free transfer after the 26-year-old terminated his contract with Greek side Panathinaikos. Wakaso signed a three-year contract on Tuesday that would link him with the Liga side until 2020. The player has had previous experience with La Liga, playing for Villarreal, Espanyol, Elche, Grenada and Las Palmas. The international forward is a regular member in the Black Stars line-up. He made part of the Ghanaian national team in the World Cup 2014 and he was named in Ghana's squad in the past three editions of the African Cup of Nations. Ghana featured in Egypt's group in the World Cup qualifiers. They are third on the group with a single point, five points behind group leaders Egypt.
