Cairo Opera Orchestra members to perform chamber concert String quartet, brass quintet to play favourite compositions in Friday concert at Cairo Opera House
On Friday, members of the Cairo Opera Orchestra will perform a chamber concert featuring compositions for strings and brass. The string quartet – which will include Nora Ritner and Emad Azmy on violins; Mohamed Abou Arab on viola; and Mohamed Salah on cello – will perform Haydn's Quartet in D Major and Mozart's Divertimento in F Major. This will be followed by a brass quintet, which will perform a number of additional compositions. The quintet will include Ahmed Marwan and Ahmed Mounir on trumpets; Andrii Orlovskyi on French horn; Mohamed Naim on trombone; Amir Ibrahim on bass tuba; and Mostafa Abbas on percussion.
