Clashes between Coptic protesters and security forces have left two dead and 37 injured, according to an official statement by the Ministry of Health. According to the statement, 22 of the injured were sent to the Coptic Hospital, five to the Nasser Institute and ten to the Bulaq General Hospital. The bodies of the two dead are now in the Coptic Hospital. The clashes erupted today after a ten thousand Coptic March starting from Shubra to the State TV building in Maspero turned violent with protesters clashing with security forces. It was reported earlier today that at least one member of the armed forces was killed in the clashes with protesters. The death of blogger Mina Daniel has also been confirmed.
