Nigerian marksman Yakubu Aiyegbeni revealed on Thursday that he wants to establish himself with Blackburn after a good start with the Rovers. "I just need to prove myself at Blackburn and show that I can still play at the highest level. If I get a call from Nigeria, then I know I must have impressed a lot here, ‘' Yakubu was quoted as saying by Kickoff. The 29 year-old striker scored twice as Blackburn defeated heavyweights Arsenal 4-3, last week. Regarding his future with the Super Eagles, Yakubu revealed that he is not in a hurry to return to the national team which played well without him. "If I'm called up by Nigeria, it's just to fire up the strikers, the team is not having problems with scoring goals in recent games," The Blackburn striker added. The former Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Everton has scored 21 goals in 57 appearances with the Super Eagles.
