Egyptian Teenager Stephan El Shaarawy expressed his delight after scoring the equalizer for his new club AC Milan against Udinese in day 4 of the Serie A. "I felt great emotions tonight. I feel sorry about the draw, but we played a great game,” the 18-year old was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Wednesday. He scored his first goal for Milan in the 63rd minute after substituting for injured Pato. “I have to thank Inzaghi, who gave me many tips on the bench and told me to feel comfortable,” said a triumphant El Shaarawy. “It was a great pass from Cassano - I must thank him for setting me up. I didn't expect to come on so early. I got close to Cassano and tried to play my game.” The result left Milan just a point above the relegation zone, meaning that neither of the two Milan giants could claim victory following three games of the new season. “I'm very pleased. We have great champions out. Tonight Pato was also injured. I don't know if I will play on Saturday, but the coach will always find me ready,” the attacking midfielder insisted. “I'm still young. I always try to give my best. I feel really good. In the summer I worked two months to increase my muscle strength,” he added. “I think that has given me good results. It's an indescribable thing to score goals. It was a unique experience in front of the fans.” El Shaarawy concluded: “I find it better on the left wing, which allows me to concentrate and shoot at the goal. I hope the coach will give me more opportunities to prove my worth.” Born in Italy to an Egyptian father, El Shaarawy impressed on loan at second-tier Padova last season, and his move to Milan is the latest in a string of deals between the Rossoneri and Genoa.
