BREAKING: Egypt officially receives first-ever French Mistral helicopter carrier
The transfer was inaugurated in a celebration at the port of Toulouse in France; Cairo will call the carrier after late president Nasser

Egypt officially recived from France on Thursdayfirst Mistral-class Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD).
The carrier will be named after the late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Egyptian defence minister Sedki Sobhi had traveled on Wednesday to France to attend the celebration of the carrier's transfer to Cairo in Toulouse.
The celebration was attended by French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Sedki was accompanied by a military delegation that included the Head of the Egyptian Naval Forces Osama Rabie.
