US speaker of the house to meet Egypt's Sisi
Speaker Paul Ryan and a congress delegation plan to meet with Sisi 'to discuss shared interests related to security, stability, and the fight against terrorism,' according to the US embassy

Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Paul Ryan, heading a delegation from the US Congress, is expected to meet on Thursday with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, a statement by the US embassy in Cairo read.
This will mark Ryan's first official visit to Cairo during the tenure of El-Sisi since Ryan assumed office in October 2015.
"Speaker Ryan and the delegation plan to meet with President El-Sisi to discuss shared interests related to security, stability, and the fight against terrorism," the statement read.
The US officials are also expected to meet with speaker of the Egyptian parliament Ali Abdel-Al "to explore opportunities for cooperation between the Egyptian parliament and the United States House of Representatives."
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud received Ryan and the congress delegation on Wednesday in Riyadh, according to Saudi media.
