Striker Ahmed Akaichi opened the scoring five minutes after the break and Malian midfielder Michailou Drame wrapped up the win in the dying minutes. Nigerian outfit Enyimba defeated Vital'O of Burundi 5-1 on aggregate as they lost 2-1 away after winning at home 5-1 last week. In other games, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco defeated CNAPS Sport of Madagascar 6-3 on aggregate to go through despite a 2-1 second-leg loss. Tanzanian side Young Africans also reached the last 16 following a1-1 draw with Rwanda's APR as they won 2-1 in the first leg, going through 3-2 on aggregate. South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns also advanced after beating AC Leopards of Congo 3-1 on aggregate. Sundowns drew 1-1 with Leopards away from home on Saturday after winning the first leg 2-0.
