Small bomb attack on police vehicle in Haram leaves 2 injured

Two civilian pedestrians were injured late Wednesday night in an explosion after an unknown assailant threw a small home-made bomb at an armoured police vehicle in the Tawabek neighbourhood, which is part of the Faisal district of Haram in Giza, security sources told Ahram Arabic news website.
The explosion shattered windshields of some parked private cars but caused no major damage.
Security sources told Ahram they are questioning a suspect who was apprehended near the site of the explosion.
