Ahly goalkeeper Ekramy fit for African Champions League kick-off
Ekramy will boost Ahly's squad ahead of Champions League bid against Angola away in round 32 of the African Champions League

Ahly's first goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy has recovered from his hamstring injury and will be fit for the club's first game in the African Champions League round of 32 against Recreativo de Libolo scheduled for 12 March in Angola.
"Ekramy has recovered from his injury and is ready to join regular trainings on Sunday," the club's doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the team's website on Thursday.
The 32-year-old injured his muscle in an attempt toblock a shottwo weeks ago during Ahly's 1-1 draw with Ghazl El-Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League.
Goalie Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim substituted Ekrami in two successive games in which the Reds drew with Masry 2-2 and won against Petrojet 2-0.
Ekramy, who came through the youth ranks of Ahly, has been a regular starter for the Red Devils since he re-joined them in 2010 following European spells with Dutch side Feyenoord and Turkey's Ankaragucu.
Ahly remain top of the league table on 44 points from 20 games, six ahead of second-placed and title holdersZamalek who will be facing El-Entag El-Harby Thursday.
Ahly are representing Egypt in the African Champions League this season alongside the league winners Zamalek after placing second in the Egyptian Premier League last season.
The record holders of seven African Champions League trophies, Ahly will host Recreativo de Libolo in the second leg a week later on 19 March.
Their arch-rivals Zamalek will be facing Union Sportive de Douala of Cameroon in the same round on the same dates.
The two Cairo giants have just hired new European coaches- Ahly signed former Tottenham manager and Dutchman Martin Jol while Zamalek landed Scotland's Alex McLeish.
