"Ekramy has recovered from his injury and is ready to join regular trainings on Sunday," the club's doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the team's website on Thursday.
The 32-year-old injured his muscle in an attempt toblock a shottwo weeks ago during Ahly's 1-1 draw with Ghazl El-Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League.
Goalie Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim substituted Ekrami in two successive games in which the Reds drew with Masry 2-2 and won against Petrojet 2-0.
Ekramy, who came through the youth ranks of Ahly, has been a regular starter for the Red Devils since he re-joined them in 2010 following European spells with Dutch side Feyenoord and Turkey's Ankaragucu.
