Al Wasl: Maradona arrives to coach Dubai club
Dubai club Al Wasl says Diego Maradona has arrived in the United Arab Emirates to start his tenure as the team's coach

The club says Maradona touched down late Wednesday, shortly before midnight. Photos on the club's Twitter page show Argentina's former World Cup winner meeting with local officials.
Al Wasl says the 50-year-old Maradona expects to meet with coaching staff to lay out training plans and search for another foreign player for the mostly Emirati squad.
Al Wasl this week officially signed Uruguay's Juan Manuel Olivera, who joins Chilean Edson Puch, and Omani defender Mohammed al-Shaiba.
The Emirates' first-division Pro League season starts next month.
