Ministries coordinate Mubarak's transfer to Cairo for trial

Egypt's Minister of Interior Mansour El-Eissawi is coordinating with the minister of health to transfer ousted president Mubarak from hospital in Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo for his trial on 3 August
Egypt's Prosecutor-General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud in official correspondence to Minister of Interior Mansour El-Eissawi asked for the transfer of ousted president Mubarak from Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo to face trial on 3 August.
According to Mohamed Hegazi, the official Cabinet spokesperson, El-Eissawi is now coordinating with the minister of health to take the necessary steps to transfer the ousted president.
Mubarak has been residing in the Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital since he was detained in April.
It was announced in a press conference earlier today that Mubarak's trial will be held in a lecture hall on the premises of the Police Academy in the district of New Cairo, a suburb of Cairo proper.
