According to Mohamed Hegazi, the official Cabinet spokesperson, El-Eissawi is now coordinating with the minister of health to take the necessary steps to transfer the ousted president. Mubarak has been residing in the Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital since he was detained in April. It was announced in a press conference earlier today that Mubarak's trial will be held in a lecture hall on the premises of the Police Academy in the district of New Cairo, a suburb of Cairo proper.
