Democratic Republic of Congo international striker Alain Kaluyituka Dioko is on the verge of a move to Qatari giants Al-Ahli after both sides have reached an agreement, according to the club's official website.
Dioko has been on trial at the club for almost two weeks now but the deal hasn't been finalised yet.
“We are waiting for their offer; if we agree on it the transfer will be sealed,” a statement read on the Mazembe website.
The 24-year-old striker has been in flamboyant form for DRC and TP Mazembe over the past couple of years.
He led his country to the African Nations Championship title in 2009 and was inspirational in TP Mazembe's victories in the African Champions League titles in 2009 and 2010 and the Super Cup titles in the same years.
The international forward hit stardom during the World Club Cup 2010 in United Arab Emirates, leading the Crows to become the first ever African team to reach the final of the competition. Dioko claimed the silver boot as the second best player of the tournament, behind Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o who won the final with Inter Milan.
