Egypt participates in Chinese festival
A festival of arts, culture and tourism held in the city of Yinchuan, is hosting several Arab artists

Egypt is participating in the Chinese Ningxia international festival for culture, arts and tourism, which opened last night in the city of Yinchuan located in northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
Sun Li Ran, the vice president of the calligraphy academy in Ningxia, said that painters from Arab countries including Egypt, Algeria, Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain, among others, will be participating in the third edition.
He added that the works have surpassed 60 paintings that have shown the beauty of the region and Islamic cultural life in Ningxia. All works by Arab painters will be given to the Chinese culture ministry in a sign of gratitiude.
The festival, which ends next Tuesday 26 July, will include opera performances and traditional songs.
