Each year the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Choir opens doors to new talent. Upcoming auditions will be held on Tuesday, 12 July at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
There are no age limits and all interested with good vocal abilities are welcome to join the audition. Chosen applicants will join the choir and will receive all necessary professional support aimed at further developing their voices.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Choir, formed in 2003, mainly performs works from the western classical music repertoire, along with some compositions from world music.
The choir is trained by Nayer Nagui, Nevine Allouba, Mohab Atef and Haig Avakian among other experts in choir and voice.
The choir performs three annual concerts, usually held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with a few performances held in Cairo. Concerts are conducted by Sherif Mohie el Din or Nayer Nagui and often feature known Egyptian opera soloists. The choir gives a number of concerts on special occasions including Christmas, the New Year and Valentine's Day.
Auditions will begin at 3 pm
