Khaled Said trial postponed to 24 September
The Alexandria Criminal Court insists committees of experts should be assembled and asked to re-examine elements of the case

The trial of torture victim Khaled Said was again postponed to 24 September.
In a short session, the Alexandria Criminal Court has postponed the case in order to create a committee made up of university professors from Alexandria and Cairo to examine the corpse of the deceased and write a new forensic report on the cause of death.
Policemen, Mahmoud Salah Mahmoud and Awad Ismael Soliman stand accused of beating to death 28-year-old Said on 8 June, 2010.
The court also decided to create another committee made up of professors of fine arts to examine the photos presented by Said's family which show his battered face and dislocated jaw and write a report about the authenticity of the images.
Supporters of Said who had gathered in front of the court, were barred from entry and a court employee read the verdict to the protesters who had gathered outside.
Following the ruling, the protesters, which included activists and families of martyrs, began chanting slogans to express their discontent over the continued postponement. Army tanks surrounded the court house to protect it from being stormed by the angry protesters.
Said's death caused a public outcry after photos of his battered face made shockwaves on the internet. A Facebook page, 'We are all Khaled Said," dedicated to his memory was one of the instigators on the January 25 Revolution, which succeeded in ousting former president Mubarak and end his 30-year rule.
