Egypt.Now festival kicks off on Friday
In a dynamic event incorporating a large number of art activities in Cairo and Alexandria, the Egypt.Now festival will take place between 1 and 18 July

Egypt.Now festival is an initiative by Nebny foundation and the Egyptian Tourism Authority aiming to create a new event that will capture Egypt's essence, "youth for freedom", inviting the world to support Egypt in 2011, serve as a guide to the world's developing countries, and turn into a yearly global event.
The festival will hold a number of artistic activities, including music events and concerts, an arts and crafts fair and a film festival, as well as a job forum aiming to help young talent find suitable careers.
The festival takes place at Gezira Promenade and Al Andalus Garden in Cairo and at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria.
